Graphing quadratic inequalities follows the same general guidelines as graphing linear equalities. Start by graphing it as if it is a normal equation, using a dashed line if it is > or < and a solid line for ≥ or ≤. Then test a point not on the line (typically the origin) to see if it satisfies the inequality, if so shade the region that includes the point. If it does not satisfy, shade the opposite region.
