Elder Longshadow 1: Freeing an Elder

Quest giver: Shadowalker Dustspirit
Location: Stoneroot Falls
Requirements: None.

• Find the cave entrance to the Hive (Stoneroot Falls)
• Deliver the note from Dustspirit
• Slay Taskmaster Shadowspin for a key
• Loot 1 Drachnid Shackle Key from Taskmaster Shadowspin
• Deliver 1 Drachnid Shackle Key to Elder Longshadow

Whoever requests the mission is given Dustspirit's Note. Head into the instanced version of the Hive. Once inside make your way to the second (western) tower and clear up one floor to find Elder Longshadow. Give her the note and Taskmaster Shadowspin will spawn outside. Clear the area a bit and then engage. During the fight it will summon enslaved corpses, these are immune to mez/root and summon when hurt. Either switch dps to kill them or have someone kite them around while you burn Shadowspin down. The adds don't despawn so you'll need to deal with them eventually. Shadowspin drops your loot as well as the Drachnid Shackle Key. Take the key back to Longshadow to complete the mission.

Level 68+ Normal

• Caster/Priest - Earring of Spiritual Fury

• Fur-Lined Plate Bracer
• Wurine Spiritual Headpiece
• Fanged Chain Arms
• Beastly Leather Boots
• Shadowmane Leash

Random mobs can drop - Swiftmantle (Lev clicky)

Level 68+ Hard

• Melee/Hybrid - Wurine Runner Belt
• Caster/Priest - Wurine Shaman Belt

• Stitched Wurine Paw Wraps
• Barbed Chain Helmet
