Halls of Honor

Overview

The Halls of Honor is a Tier 3 zone, requires defeating Aerin'Dar for access. There are 3 raid trials which give accesss to HoHb, home of Mithaneil Marr. For non-raiders the zone has a few rares, but they don't actually drop loot very often. The agro rules in the zone are a bit wonky, mobs will mem-blur if they get too far away from their spawn or from their target.

Events

Trial: Alekson Garn
  • Size: 54
  • Respawn: 18 hours

Alekson spawns in the southeast corner of the zone. After following Alekson's dialog to start the event a Custodian of Marr will spawn, trivial mob. Upon its death the event starts in earnest as 5-7 mobs spawn in each of the three rooms. Kiters can keep the ones in the 2nd and 3rd busy while the raid kills off those in first room. In addition to the mobs are "virgins", if the mobs kill any of them the trial is failed, so be sure the kiters keep their distance. When all of the first rooms mobs are down a boss, Advocent Joran, spawns with crazy melee output. Once he is dispatched rez up and move to room two, kill the adds, and another boss spawns, Halgoz Rellinic, who does significant rampage damage. After taking him out rez up and move to room three, clear the adds, and Freegan Haun pops. He's about the same as Halgoz. Rez quickly and make sure everybody hails Alekson in the first room for their flag. A loot drop should be on both Halgoz and Freegan.

Trial: Rhaliq Trell
  • Size: 54
  • Respawn: 18 hours

Rhaliq spawns in the northwest corner of the zone. After following Rhalig's dialog a Custodian of Marr spawns. When you kill it about a dozen mobs spawn over the three rooms along with a few villagers. If the mobs kill any villagers the trial ends in failure. Have kiters keep the mobs busy as the raid pulls them in one or two at a time. Once all of them are dead Rhaliq respawns, hail him for your flag. This event evidently has no loot other than spells off the various mobs you kill. This is likely a bug, but doubt it will ever get fixed.

Trial: Trydan Faye
  • Size: 54
  • Respawn: 18 hours

Trydan spawns in the northeast area of the zone. After following his dialog a Custodian of Marr spawns and attacks. When it is killed Rydda'Dar instantly spawns and attacks so make sure everybody is ready. Rydda'dar hits hard, has a large range AE fear, and a short range AE stun with 2.5k dd and 700 pt dot. When Rydda'dar dies Trydan respawns, hail him for your flag.

Lord Mithaniel Marr
  • Size: 54
  • Respawn: 3 days

To fight LMM his 3 guards must be up: "Ralthazor, Champion of Marr", "Edium, Guardian of Marr", and "Halon of Marr". Halon has a 3k dd, Edium has a knockback + stun, and Ralthazor has an AE snare + slow. When you engage them, for some reason, Ralthazor (the froglok) needs to die last or LMM may not activate. LMM himself has a 3.5k dd proc and a single target root, so be careful not to push out of tank's range. When LMM goes down hail the planar projection for your flag.
