Rain of Fear

Expansion overview:
The Rain of Fear expansion takes place after defeating the Alaran's god causing the essence of Cazic Thule to coalesce into shards and fall all across Norrath. In an effort to collect and exploit these shards groups have set up a base in Shard's Landing (accessed via guild hall portal or directly from the City of Bronze). Here they have created portals leading to where the shards have scattered. Before starting your journey into the expansion head to the camp in Shard's Landing and speak with the following quest givers:

• Leopold Crunchbasher - Eastern Wastes, to Zeixshi-Kar's Awakening
• Vaytok - Resplendent Temple, to Grelleth's Palace, the Chateau of Filth
• Vdrakii - Dragon Necropolis, to The Breeding Grounds
• Sir Delvas - Commonlands, to Chapterhouse of the Fallen
• Bygral Tamescale - Beasts Domain, to Evantil, the Vile Oak
• Soulbound Construct - Gorge of King Xorbb, to Valley of King Xorbb
• Camellia Spiretear - The Grey, to Chelsith Reborn
• Sister Fealcrest - Vex Thal, to Plane of Shadow

Each will give you a task requiring you to click on a crystal in the associated zone. Those crystals will port you into the various Rain of Fear zones. Once you have zoned in via a crystal you can return to Shard's Landing to complete the task, flagging you to use the crystals there instead of having to run all around the world. The final zone, Heart of Fear, is accessed via the crevice in the center of camp.

None of the zones are locked behind progression and you can do them in any order you choose. Each zone has a storyline in the partisan task line and mission resulting in access to request that zone's raid. Attending raids only requires completing the previous tier's raids, if you lack those flags you can be 85'd in and guild banners appear to also bypass flag requirements.

TLP info:
The item used to change the guild hall portal is not available at first. The server needs to do X fear shard hand ins to unlock it.
30 days after Rain of Fear opens, Korafax and Underfoot's Tier 8 and 9 zones should be unlocked.
Plane of Knowledge should have Seeds of Destruction tier 1 spells added. The recipes to research Rain of Fear spells are already known and the materials should be dropping.
Level 90 Hotzones are active, which alternate between Arthicrex (Sentinel's Claw), Fear Itself (Frightening Salve), and Argath (Imbued Feather).
