Into the Caverns of Fear

Say "ready" to enter the instance.

Inside the instance start by hailing all 3 Coldain. Kill corrupted sporali, tainted orcs, and fiery wraiths around the top of the pit and loot the 9 required items. Hand them to the corresponding coldain and everybody in the group should hail to get an Elixir of Protection and a Dreadstone Armor. Right click them both to use them and update the task.

THE TASK LOCKS HERE.

Hail Niva to get a Bundle of Explosives. Go to the large crystal at the entrance of the pit and right click the explosives, then defeat 6 mobs at the bottom of the pit. If the buffs from the Elixir or Armor fades, you will take 39k dd procs from these mobs. If you need refresh head back to the coldain for a new Elixir and Armor.

Move to the center of the room to trigger the next update, a golem named Horror spawns and attacks. The buffs from Elixir and Armor will block one attack but you'll still take a 31k dd with spinstun.

After finishing off the golem a chest spawn. Open it to finish the mission.

The chest contains a random spell mote (96-99) and one of the following:

• Band of Focused Terror
• Crushing Aegis of Dawn
• Crystallized Slug
• Dracnia's Focus
• Frosted Topaz
• Queen's Silk Pall
• Ry'Gorr Ceremonial Dagger
• Velium Knuckles of the Pit
