For the first update you need to find a Bloody Note, a random drop from most mobs in the zone that can not be pre-looted. Once you've looted one you will need to turn in a Discordling Blood, from the discordling manglers that roam the hallways, a Bloodbind Potion, from the vulture like Vitriks, and a Mindshear Slime, from the mindshear attendants (girplans). These three items can be prelooted, and stack, making this an easy quest to stock up on, with the discordlings being the rarist piece.
