When your group is inside hail Billik to begin the event. You will need to defend the village from invisible ghouls and humans serving Bertox in waves of 1-3. The villagers are of next to no use during this so make sure you bring a tracker to find the bad guys as they spawn otherwise they might kill too many villagers causing the mission to fail. Eventually a host of mobs will start to advance from the north, followed by a small dialog between Arch Priest Cronkle and Scumlord. When they finish the host and all unkilled mobs despawn and the task updates. Hail Billik, say "keep" to zone out, then hail the Captain to finish the mission.

It is possible to simply kite the mobs for the duration and win without killing anything.
