The Mindblight
When you zone in The Mindblight is rooted in the middle of the first room. Move up into the room, but do not pass the bones on the ground. Once you get close the event will start and anybody not in the room will take a 32k/tick dot + stun (ie die). This aura keeps people from trying to zone in or out while the event is active. Be careful not to touch the walls either or you risk getting hit by the dot as well. When everybody is ready engage Mindblight. It hits for up to 14k and has a small dot aura centered around it, nothing to worry about. At this point it doesn't summon. Shortly after it reaches 85% it will despawn.
Each time Mindblight despawns you will get 3 or more "a mindgnawer". These things are mean and proc Mind Gnaw, a 500 dot to hp, mana, and endurance. However if they are mezzed they die instantly. Shortly after despawning there is a global emote:
The maw in the *direction* gurgles and coughs up a drop of ooze.
Where *direction* is either northeast, northwest, southwest, or southeast. In the direction called is a small, inactive little goo. About 12 seconds after the emote the little goo becomes "a Mindshear Ooze", hits for up to 12k, and casts Bloop, a 10k dd, 2k dot, and 7.5 sec stun with a 131 range. You also get an emote for a second direction. About 12 seconds later you get a 2nd Mindshear Ooze in that direction, and then 12 seconds later a 3rd Ooze from a 3rd direction. If a big ooze isn't killed quickly it will split into 5 smaller ones which will likely wipe the raid fast. When any of the big oozes die it casts Disgusting Goop, a snare which also cuts your spell range by 75%. Shortly after the 3rd ooze the Mindblight spawns in the direction an ooze didn't spawn in. It only stays up for about a minute before despawning which starts the cycle over (starting with more mindgnawers). You have 5 cycles to bring the Mindblight down to 35% or the event resets (and does so with no warning at all).
Once Mindblight is under 35% it starts to summon and no longer despawns. You still get mindgnawer spawns which will need to be mezzed to kill. Once it is dead the chest spawns and the aura preventing you from leaving the area is turned off. The trash leading to the second event also spawns and can agro through the north door if you get too close.
Normal mode chest contains 1 or 2 Tower Keys, 2 runes, 2 Fractured Coeval Essences, and 2 of the following:
- Darkheart Earring
- Ring of Teeth
- Ooze Ward
- Dreadskin Cape
- Shroud of Insanity
- Tongue of Insanity
- Redeye
- Bonecrasher
- Ironwood Wand
- Lifeshriek
Hard mode chest contains 2 runes, one Coeval Essence, and one other "hard mode" loot.
Trophy Room
First step is the trash. The pulls are going to be 1-4 mobs as they are agro linked. The Mastruqs have a rear arc dd, Backstabber's Regret. The mastruqs can be mezzed but will wake each other up if they are too close. Ukuns are generic melee. Ferans cast Feran's Balm, a 2500 mana tap which heals the feran.
With trash clear you can start the actual event. Once you enter the room the event starts and the door locks. Inside are 8 objects that need to be /open and /loot, 2 piercers ("Krattk the Lion Tamer" and "Ikrett the Bull Killer"), 2 slashers ("Raxtki the Skitterer Render" and "Frikitt the Skitterer Ripper"), 2 blunts ("Clikkt the Tentacle Shatterer" and "Hraxtt the Tentacle Smasher"), and 2 shields ("Rekkter the Red" and "Trexxt the White").
You get 8 mobs to start, 2 Chimera, 2 Feran, 2 Ukun, and 2 Mastruq, each with a specific weakness. Chimeras take extra damage from pierce while heavily mitigating blunt/slash. Likewise Ferans are weak to blunt and Ukun are weak to slash. Only the Mastruq can be mezzed and they take big damage when a mez wears off normally. Roughly a minute after entering the Kyv Trophy wakes up and walks to the center of the room. On the dias the Kyv Trophy grows to full height and goes active hitting for up to 13k. The Kyv Trophy cycles through 3 AEs, first is Rapid Arrows, a frontal 15k dd + stun. 5-10 sec later is Arcane Spike Arrow, a targeted 12k + spell slow AE. 5-10 seconds after that is Archer's Armageddon, a 15k PBAE with flux. 5-10 seconds later it goes back to Rapid Arrows and starts over. Around 90 seconds after the Kyv started moving the next wave of 8 adds spawn.
Finish off the Kyv Trophy while taking out the adds. Next the Ixt Trophy starts walking to the center of the room where it goes active. The Ikt has 3 effects it cycles through as well. First up is Hoof Kick, a 20k dd + stun that hits only those directly behind, next is Halberd Scythe, a 12k dd that hits everybody on the front, last is Thunderous Hoof Strike, a 5k dd, stun, and flux PBAE with 50 range. After another 90 seconds the next wave of 8 adds spawn.
Finish off the Ixt Trophy while taking out the 3rd set of adds. Next comes the Ikaav Trophy as it begins its trek to the center and goes active. The Ikaav Trophy only seems to have one trick, Ikaav Venom Spit, a narrow band frontal 2.5k dd + blind. After another 90 seconds the fourth wave of 8 adds spawn.
Finish off the Ikaav Trophy while taking out the 4th and final set of adds. The Electrified Trophy walks over and goes active. It has a 200 pt damage shield on that can't be removed and casts Arcstrike, a 16k dd + stun (unsure how it targets). You only have about a minute to handle it before Gelidran and Pyrilen Trophies begin to move. The riftseeker trophies each have an elemental AE which do around 10k. If they are too close together they start sending off extra AE as "feedback", but if they are too far apart their melee output gets stronger. When both are dead the Curator spawns. You only need to beat him to 95% to make him despawn and win.
Normal mode chest contains 1 or 2 Tower Keys, 2 runes, 2 Fractured Coeval Essences, and 2 of the following:
- Distorted Face Mask
- Runed Metal Belt
- Millennial Runestone
- Blackstone Encrusted Belt
- Murkglider Skin Cape
- Nightside Gem Earring
- Crystallized Blood Ring
- Raxtki the Skitterer Render
- Triskixx the Sweeper
- Krattk the Lion Tamer
Hard mode chest contains 2 runes, one Coeval Essence, and one other "hard mode" loot.
Stasis
No trash clear for this event. When you enter the room the door locks and the event starts. There are 8 creatures in the stasis tubes that you must face two at a time. After each pair if you delay in selecting the next two for too long the Curator releases all remaining mobs. The order you face them is up to you but the pairings are important as one mobs abilities are used to negate the other. The pairings are:
- Hexxt Shredder (Aneuk) and Pixtt Spellstriker (Pyrilen) - These two have auras which cancel each other out. Pixxt Spellstriker casts Pyrilen Wave, a 5k dd + 850 dot AE, Pyrilen Strike, a single target version of wave, and Pyrilen Flamecone, a frontal version of wave. She also uses Pyrilen Warpshear, a 7k dd with stun. Hexxt Shredder doesn't appear to having any tricks.
- Hexxt Spawnmaster (Ikaav) and Pixxt Wavekiller (Ra'tuk) - Hexxt Spawnmaster will summon a handful of adds fairly frequently and Pixxt Wavekiller will AE them down. Make sure you don't kill Pixxt Wavekiller first, or you might end up with some nasty adds with a bunch of hp to handle. Other than the adds Hexxt Spawnmaster has no tricks. Pixxt Wavekiller casts Wavemaster's Flamewave, a cold based (/boggle) 2k dd + dot, Wavemaster's Icewave, another cold based 2k dd but with stun, Wavemaster's Manawave, which reduces mana by 2k, Wavemaster's Poisonwave, poison based 2k dd + dot, Wavemaster's Corruptwave, disease based 2k dd + dot, and Wavemaster's Chromawave, a 2500 dd + small flux. He cycles through the 6 AEs casting one every 5 seconds, so the cycle repeats every 30 seconds.
- Hexxt Chitinbreaker (Kyv) and Hexxt Slimekeeper (Bazu) - Shortly after engaging Hexxt Chitinbreaker will drop a bunch of weapons on the ground. These weapons have a very high Bazu bane component making them do exceptional damage on Hexxt Slimekeeper. Likewise throughout the fight Hexxt Slimekeeper will drop Bazu Slime, a stackable item with 1 charge of Bazu Slime. Each use of this on Hexxt Chittinbreaker will do about 3% damage. Other than their decent melee dps there is nothing else special about these two.
- Hexxt Flashstriker (Noc) and Pixtt Soother (Gelidran) - Every 5 seconds Pixtt Soother attempts to heal itself and any other mob up, but if it is facing Hexxt Flashstriker his heal fails. Hexxt Flashstriker has a few spells, Noc Poison, a single target 15k dd + 3500 dot (42 poison counters), Noc Rending Bite, a single target 16k dd, and Noc Wave of Affliction, a 15k dd + 2500 dot (42 disease counters) AE. Once the Pixtt Soother is dead you can kite the Hexxt Flashstriker and he will depop.
Once all 8 are down Curator gets upset and releases Lanys and Firiona and then attacks. They each hit for up to 12k. Firiona casts Nulling Void, a 4 slot dispel which hits anybody within 15' of the tank. Lanys opens the fight with a harm touch and casts Dooming Darkness, a 2k dot + snare AE, Avatar Power, a VERY short range 2k dd + dispel, Pulse of Pain, an 11k AE dd, and Lanys' Beam of Darkness, a 12.5k dd frontal beam. You will need to keep Firiona and Lanys balanced to within 5% or they both power up considerably. Periodically Firiona will heal Lanys about 3% which can throw off balance. Once both reach 35% health they go inactive and you can focus on the Curator.
The Curator hits for up to 15k and has 2 spells, the first is Curator's Revenge which increases damage of Lanys' beam by 100%. If you cure this the curer takes substatial damage, if you don't cure it, you get Curator's Bite, a 12k dd with 5k dot. This is recast often so you are better off not curing it all. His second is Curator's Smash, which is a Large (20-30k) dd effect that hits in one direction. You are warned of the direction based off emotes of how he is swinging his chains. The other matter to deal with is a banishing effect. Periodically the curator will send the tank into one of the stasis prisons. To get out you need 3 people clicking on it (the trapped person counts).
When Curator dies the chest appears, Firiona and Lanys despawn, and the trash to event 4 spawns. Be careful looting the chest as a roaming discordian can agro through the door. It is also important to heal to full before Curator's Revenge wears off and the Bite triggers.
Normal mode chest contains 1 or 2 Tower Keys, 2 runes, 2 Warped Coeval Essences, and 2 of the following:
- Whitemetal Gorget
- Deepsea Ice Stud
- Captured Puresoul Charm
- Discord Glow Rune
- Cryostasis Fragment Ring
- Diamond Feather Mask
- Cryostasis Fragment
- Hexxt Shredder's Mace
- Flashstriker's Great Mace
- Hexxt Chitinbreaker's Lessonteacher
Hard mode chest contains 2 runes, one Coeval Essence, and one other "hard mode" loot.
Scrying
First step is clearing the trash to reach the event. There are Mastruqs, same as before casting their rear arc AE Backstabber's Regret which can break mez on other mobs. There are a few discordlings which cast Rebounding Spikes when they die. This is a 15k PB AE and seems to be cast multiple times. You'll have a few pairs of ikaavs which cast Envenomed Mana, a 3.5k dot and 2.5k mana drain, and Ikaav Entrancement, a 30 sec Viral mez. There are 2-3 nocs which are pure melee, but flurry. A kyv or 2 that cast Blinding Shot, a 12k dd with blind. Some Aneuks with Chains of Destruction, a single target snare with a 3k dd. And some Ra'tuks with the annoying Healer's Bane AE. This debuff reduces any healing spells by 4000, and if cured the curer loses 15k hp and mana.
Once you are finished with trash you trigger the event by entering the room. You will be attacked by a number of Scryers (dragorn model). Each of these drop a Scryer's Torch with a 15 sec recast clicky used to light a torch. You also get adds with each one killed which are mezzable. When you've looted enough torches light 12 bowls around the room. Each bowl lit summons more adds to the room from the west (these are mezzable as well). Once you start lighting you need to get all 12 lit quickly or the Head Scryers will emote and they get blown out resulting in a need to relight (getting more adds). Shortly after all 12 bowls are lit the 4 Head Scryers go active.
The 4 Head Scryers are all permarooted, summon, and hit for up to 14k. They don't need to be balanced in any way and each have special abilities:
- Head Scryer Ytta - This one is a cleric and casts normal cleric spells including heals and cleric nukes.
- Head Scryer Oomk - This one is a shadowknight and casts normal sk spells like Harm Touch, liftaps, and fear. Additionally it casts Corruption of Discord, a 10k dd.
- Head Scryer Imta - This one is an enchanter and casts normal enchanter spells like tash and charm. Additionally it casts Complete Domination, an 18 sec mez.
- Head Scryer Llkth - This one is a warrior and casts no spells, but does have AE rampage.
Once all 4 Head Scryers are dead all adds despawn, the loot chest appears, and lockout is generated.
Normal mode chest contains 1 or 2 Tower Keys, 2 runes, 2 Warped Coeval Essences, and 2 of the following:
- Timestealer's Mantle
- Timestealer's Mask
- Timeworn Pain
- Head Scryer's Sash of Timegazing
- Painbook of Mysteries
- Timestealer's Gorget
- Scryer's Loop
- Mask of Time Gazing
- Blade of Far Sight
- Time's Sundering
Hard mode chest contains 2 runes, one Coeval Essence, and one other "hard mode" loot.
Sacrifice
The first part is the trash and it is the worst trash in the zone. Most guilds use 'clever' tricks with planting a banner to skip the trash because of how annoying it is. There are a few ixts (goats) which have a knockback, vitriks which have a flux and a levitation inhibitor, and the lightning guys. These send out emotes about being "drawn" to either the north or south. If those that get the emote fail to do so the lightning guy will fire off a 50k AE dd (blocked by walls). There are 8 of these total, coming in sets of 2, 2, and 4. They are mezable.
The actual event starts when you enter the room. A few emotes go off about the discordians performing a rite on the gelidran king, and then you are attacked by some Bazu ceremonial guards. About 30 seconds after triggering the event Guard Captain Nexx, a kyv, spawns at the door and attacks hitting for about 13k. Every 20 seconds Nexx casts Captain's Arrow, a 5k dd to everybody in his line of sight. For as long as he is up you continue to get bazu guard adds which are mezzable.
Once Nexx and his adds are down you can move south and attack the 4 Discordant Corrupters. While they are four mobs it helps to think of them as having a shared hp pool, so it is easier to focus on just one. When they take about 9% damage the first mini, Ensslat, spawns. Ensslat hits for 13k and can cast a few spells:
- Cracked Armor - a beam that increases the damage you take from melee, if cured the curer gets a 9300/tick dot for 3 tick.
- Weakness of Discord - single target debuff that reduces your max hp
You will face three more minis as you take one of the Corrupters lower, each triggering Energy Explosion on death. The second mini is Xxten, has a 12k AE. Third is Umkas with a lifetap/mana drain beam and single target FD/stun. Fourth mini is Tenndxx, which has AE rampage and flurry. You'll want to keep a little dps on the Corrupters at all times or they will summon more bazu adds, but not too much dps to trigger the next mini early.
About 70 seconds after Tenndxx you get a final emote about summoning aid, but no aid comes. The Discordant Corrupters activate and for the remainder of the event their health is linked, allowing you to focus all dps on one target and damage them all. The four corrupters are:
- Discordant Corrupter Bklus - Single and AE rampage.
- Discordant Corrupter Exxtan - Just AE rampage.
- Discordant Corrupter Grlax - Flurry and single Rampage, casts Pain of Emptiness, a simple 12k PBAE.
- Discordant Corrupter Knen - Sluggishness of Death, PBAE 25% spell and melee slow.
Normal mode chest contains 1 or 2 Tower Keys, 2 runes, 2 Distorted Coeval Essences, and 2 of the following:
- Fleshwrap Cloak of Discord
- Discordant Soulstealer's Collar
- Phyro Ring of Pain
- Merciless Visage of Discord
- Shawl of Discordant Incantations
- Death Studded Metal Belt
- Vile Torturer's Earring
- Bulwark of Corruption
- The Keen Edge of Discord
- Corrupted Soul Piercer
Hard mode chest contains 2 runes, one Coeval Essence, and one other "hard mode" loot.
Overlord Muram
When you trigger the only mob active is Zun`Muram Volklana, rooted in the center of the room, immune to all spells, and with an aura that is a silence plus massive melee slow. Using DA you can enter the aura, click off DA, and be able to attack. Once you dps him to 95% or so the aura drops and he becomes unrooted. It casts Aura of Fatigue II, 2k dd, mana dot, and atk debuff on the main tank every 30 seconds. It will also AE Rage of the Zun`Muram II, a 9k dd, 1k dot, an int/wis debuff, and increases mana costs by 50%.
About 1 minute after triggering Lord Brekt shouts and Pixxt Kretv Krakxt becomes active. The ikaav is perma rooted and won't summon till damaged. It hits for 12k casts Soul Consumption II, a 6k hp and 3k mana dd, on the main tank every 30 seconds. At 90%, 70%, 50%, and 30% the ikaav despawns and a bunch of little "an ikaav hatchling" spawn. While the hatchlings are up a "reflection" of Kretz spawns, untargetable, and roams the room. Each iteration more reflections spawn and cast more spells including:
- Ikaav Venom II - 9k dd and 50% melee slow (AE)
- Aura of Fatigue II - 2k dd, mana dot, and atk debuff (single target)
- Wrath of the Ikaav II - 7k dd, 10 sec stun, and FD (single target)
- Delusional Visions II - 8k dd and Drunk (single target)
When Volklana or Krakxt is killed Brekt emotes and Arch Magus Vangl becomes active. He hits for 12k and has 3 spells:
- Touch of Anquish II - a snare, nuke reducer, and melee reducer with 16 corruption counters
- Gaze of Anquish II - an 8k dd, 600 dot, and 250 mana dot with 16 corruption counters
- Mark of Death II, a 1 minute doom effect with 16 corruption counters that kills if not cured
Shortly after Vangl spawns Brekt will shout again and Taskmistress Krisz becomes active. Krisz hits for 12k has three spells:
- Call of Chaos II which summons 2 adds
- Grasp of Muram II which is a single target snare and small dot
- Vengeance of the Ixt II which is a 7k dd plus flux
When Vangl and Krisz die Brext shouts again and The Synarcana spawns and attacks. It is 100% immune to pc melee and spells, but can be hurt by pets (charmed pets as well). It hits for 14k and casts Aura of the Synarcana II, 5k dd AE, every 45 seconds. Adds spawn during this phase, golems can be charmed. The two riftseeker npc's will emote during this phase about how to break Synarcana's shield, a specific order of 4 cold and fire spells cast on them. If you do the sequence correctly the shield drops for 20% of its health. Be sure to use pure spells, those with secondary components can cause a fail. Likewise low level spells may not count either. To further add to the confusion, Synarcana constantly memblurs.
When all 5 are defeated the lockout is generated and the loot chest spawns.
Normal mode chest contains 1 or 2 Tower Keys, 2 runes, 2 Distorted Coeval Essences, and 2 of the following:
- Leg of Diabolic Writs
- Pauldrons of Endless War
- Amulet of the Dark Origin
- Bloodthirst Cloak of Sorrow

- Skulltutor
- Soulsunder
Hard mode chest contains 2 runes, one Coeval Essence, and one other "hard mode" loot.
Edge of Destruction
Lord Brekt stands alone, hitting for 15k, flurries, and 8k AE rampage. In addition to his substantial damage there are various emotes to watch for:
- A shadow passes over you - When someone gets this emote an aura appears where they were doing 15k dd with 8k dot
- Chaotic, whirling winds of discordant energy blow across the pinnacle of the broken tower, generating a haunting and deafening howl - A silence aura appears around Brekt
- Lord Brekt prepares to unleash his fury on the mortals at his feet - 5 seconds before a 30k AE goes off hitting all in melee range
Dodge the auras and take him down to 30% saving big burns. At 30% he begins to target people, up to a dozen at a time, with either Discordant Detritus or Discordant Doom. Both have a single corruption counter. If you get Detritus you must NOT get cured, or you will be DT'd. If you get Doom you MUST get cured, or you will be DT'd when it fades in just 10-12 seconds. Pour on the DPS and get him dead before too many players die.
If you take too long or too many players die during the event Brekt's dps increases, hitting for up to 40k or more. If you wipe you may need to get a fresh instance as it doesn't always reset properly. Defeating Brext will backflag everybody in the raid.
