Once you have the mission you zone into the instance at the same portal to uninstanced Thalassius. Iniside head into the caves and take the east path to reach the temple to the far south end. On the top floor (coming from east you'll be on the correct floor already) is Xao Aulin, tethered to his room. Pull out and trash and when ready rush him. He hits for up to 2200 and every minute (might be 2 minutes now, need confirmation) 4 adds will spawn:

• a darkwater clawfiend - Crab model, hits for 2k, can't be mezzed, procs a snare
• a raging sea dervish - Dervish model, mezzable, procs a spinstun
• 2x a sea mephit - Mephit model, mezzable, procs a 750 dd

Lock adds down as best you can and burn down Xao. The adds don't despawn so be ready to either evac, gate, or clean them up after. Return to Flora and hail to complete the task.
