Summary

Collect ground spawns, click to pop dervishes. Various AEs, cure frontal AE "Ale Belch", 30 poison counters. Keep killing until one drops Words of Opening
Move to Latarien, The Butler, give Words, say "Love is the consumption of self" then "prepared"
Kill "an animated book", hit 18k, immune to cc, silence aura, spawns once a minute or so. Keep killing till emote and they stop.
Click pedestals on 2nd floor to spawn either a 'story' or 1-4 dervishes. Need to kill 3 stories, cure "Dark Plague" 30 disease counters. Order random.
While dealing with pedestals, Librarian attacks but is immune to damage till stories done, will port around zone taking 6 with her.
Take her to 10%. Cure Unseen Poison, 20 poison counters.

Phase 1

Send tanks around the zone to collect 8 ground spawns (need locs for a map). Click one to spawn 1-2 dervishes. These books hit 18k, are immune to cc, and some can randomly cast:

Ale Belch - frontal AE 28k dot and melee slow. 30 poison counters.
Blood Soak - 30k lifetap (meant to be AE, but 0 range).
Flying Knife - single target 30k dd.

Keep them facing away from the raid to avoid Belch and kill them until a Words of Opening drops. Once it does stop spawning dervishes, move to Latarien, The Butler, and med up.

Phase 2

Give the Words of Opening to The Butler then /say "Love is the consumption of self" and "prepared" to initiate the rest of the event. "an animated book" will start spawning, roughly one per minute. They hit 18k, can't be mezzed, rooted, or stunned, and seem to have auras which silence casters and melee. You'll need to get them down before the next spawns to have time to heal back up. Roughly four minutes after starting you'll get an emote:
The butler's voice, frail and cracking, comes wafting weakly across the library, "Do what she wants... Read her books..."

At this point kill any remaining books (seems random how long it continues and how many you get).

Phase 3

Keep the raid near The Butler and send someone upstairs to click a pedastal. Each click either summons 1-4 dervishes like those in Phase 1 or one of three stories:

Miss Muffet

Triggers the emote: A muffled scream permeates the library. When it is suddenly cut short, the silence becomes loud
The Spider spawns on the lower level on west side of the zone, can be pulled from there to raid (DA pull strongly advised). It hits 20k, can warp on top of its target, and casts:

Curds and Whey Spray - frontal AE 10k dot, slow, and snare. 30 poison counters.
Web Tangle - rear AE 12k dot and root.
Web Tether - A slow pull drawing its target to it.
Snicker Snack - single target 40k dd.

Billy the Piper

Triggers the emote: the sound of reedy piping sweeps through the stacks. Distant squeeking noises can be heard shortly after the pipe sounds fade.
Billy spawns way to the southwest, can be pulled to the raid. He hits for 16k and casts:

Call of the Pipes - single target 12 sec charm.
Dark Plague - VIRAL 10k dot. 30 disease counters.
Piper's Dance - Targeted AE mez.

Billy summons rat adds non stop so burn him down fast. Rot Rats are immune to cc, Book Rats can be mezzed and stunned. They all hit for 10k.

The dwarves

Triggers the emote: A deep voice rumbles, 'I guess it's off to work we go. I'd rather just stay here and rest.'
7 Dwarves, a ghost, and a siren spawn just west of The Butler. They all hit 18k but aren't agro linked so split and pull them in:

Bones - targeted 32k AE
Chirpy - targeted AE mez
Leth - mezzable, PBAE slow and snare
Mut the Mute - single target silence
Queasy - wide frontal AE 9k dot with flux, 20 disease counters
Truculence - PBAE 27k dd with flux
Verecund - 100% spell reflect buff
Lost Love - the ghost, pure melee
Whiteshoals - the siren, single target 27k dd with stun and single target charm

While dealing with whichever event is spawned by clicking the pedestal, a timer starts and soon after The Librarian activates. She will be buffed with Shield of Scrolls, a 1 million hp regen, 100% spell reflect, and 500 ds. The buff will only be removed when you've completed all 3 stories, so either Kite or Off tank her until then. During this phase she will occasionally port around the zone taking the 6 highest on her agro list with her, be sure whoever is handling her knows the zone well enough to be able to bring her back. Be aware she casts her spells below while you're dealiing with the stories and dervishes.

Phase 4

The Librarian hits for 22k and casts:

Don't Look at Me - 30 sec self buff which causes melee to face away when they attack.
Shared Pain - targeted group health balance (like divine arbitration).
Shadow of Loss - 15 second swarm pet.
Swirl of Pages - Zonewide AE 35k dd, 6k dot. 10 corruption counters.

Starting at 80% and every 15% after you get 1 book add. These books hit for 15k, are immune to cc, and while most are pure melee you can get one randomly that can cast Unseen Poison, a single target debuff with 20 poison counters. If not cured in 18 seconds, everybody get an uncurable 15k dot for 8 ticks. When The Librarian is reduced to 10% she goes into a scripted event with The Butler, she MUST be near him at this point or the event can bug out. After the little cutscene plays out the chest spawns with loot.

Loot is 2 Esoteric Remnants (random slots), 4 Spell Fragments, a chance at a Lucid Globe of Phantasmic Power, 3 Rusty Gate Keys, 2-3 of the following:
