Progression

Elements required for progression are in Bold. Group tasks/missions are marked with (g).


Only one zone is unlocked at the start, Stratos: Zephyr's Flight, the rest of the zones unlock in a linear fashion. You start with the solo task Soldier of Air and the group mission Fight Fire. This allows you access to a special instanced version of the Plane of Smoke from Stratos. In here you can choose from 5 different Trials, these are given by mobs with the exact same name. I list them below starting with the due west hall from the center as 1st Tunnel and due east hall as 6th Tunnel. If you complete one trial you can, for as long as you have the lockout, go through the instance into the static Empyr: Realms of Ash. If you complete all five trials you get the achievement and gain access to the static version of the Plane of Smoke and Empyr.


At this point you have permanent access to the static zones of Plane of Smoke and Empyr.


At this point you have permanent access to the static zone of Aalishai: Palace of Embers.


At this point you have permanent access to the static zone of Esianti: Palace of the Winds.


At this point you have permanent access to the static zone of Mearatas: The Stone Demesne.


Below are the listings for the Mercenary, Partisan, and Hero Achievements. Doing all Mercenary and Partisan gives a flying carpet mount, doing all Hero gives a Djinn illusion. There are some cross-zone dependencies for requesting some tasks. If you can't request a task when you reach the zone, go back to doing progression above and come back later.
